Server & Storage Hardware your own hardware, advised, delivered, installed, looked after.
We supply servers from Dalco and storage from NetApp as your own hardware, and we operate them at your site or in our datacenter. Maximum control, maximum performance, one point of contact across the entire lifecycle.
Owning your hardware is not an idea of yesterday.
It is the answer when your data and your performance should be yours.
Established solutions from brands IT leaders trust.
Six reasons why owning your hardware still makes sense.
Maximum control
You control your data, applications and security in-house, without relying on external services.
Full performance
No shared resources, no noisy neighbour. CPU, RAM and IOPS belong exclusively to you.
Highest data security
Data stays in your own building or in our Swiss datacenter, encrypted, fully under your control.
Scalable
Storage and compute can be expanded modularly. You invest when the need is there, not in advance.
Predictable cost
One-off investment instead of monthly consumption billing. Over the lifecycle often cheaper, especially with stable workloads.
One point of contact
Advisory, delivery, installation, operations and maintenance from a single partner. We stay your contact after the sale too.
Dalco — Swiss server hardware with substance.
We configure and deliver servers from the Swiss brand Dalco: from a single tower for a small office to a rack with multiple nodes for virtualisation or database workloads. Current CPU platforms (AMD EPYC and Intel Xeon), ECC RAM, redundant power supplies, fully configurable to your needs.
- Configured to workload: office server, virtualisation, database, backup.
- Fully redundant components: power supplies, fans, RAID controllers.
- Out-of-band management for remote maintenance included.
- Hardware warranty and fast spare-part supply within Switzerland.
- Optional as a cluster for high availability (VMware vSphere, Proxmox, Hyper-V).

NetApp — enterprise storage that grows with you.
For storage capacities that need more than a server-internal disk: NetApp AFF (all-flash) and FAS systems running ONTAP. Block, file and object across all common protocols (iSCSI, NFS, SMB, S3), snapshots, replication, integrated data reduction. One platform that grows with your requirements.
- NetApp AFF all-flash for performance-critical workloads (DB, VDI, ERP).
- NetApp FAS hybrid storage for mixed and capacity-heavy workloads.
- ONTAP features: snapshots, SnapMirror replication, deduplication, compression.
- Volume-level encryption (NVE), AES-256.
- Expandable in production, without data migration.

Four steps from first conversation to running operations.
Advisory
We assess workload, data volume and requirements and design the right hardware configuration. Honest recommendation if colocation or private cloud would actually be the better fit.
Sales
Clear quote with Dalco server configuration and/or NetApp storage, transparently priced, without hidden follow-up costs.
Installation
Delivery, setup and commissioning at your site or in our datacenter. Migration of existing data and configuration included.
Operations
Monitoring, updates, patches, hardware replacement under warranty. On request, full managed service including backup, security and user support.

When buying hardware is not the full picture.
Colocation
Your own hardware in our Swiss datacenter. You retain ownership, we handle power, cooling, network and hands-on service.
Private Cloud
Instead of buying hardware: virtual servers on our platform with a fixed monthly price and a geo-redundant setup.
Backup
Encrypted 3-2-1 backup of your servers, geo-redundant into the second datacenter. Quarterly restore tests.
Firewall & VPN
Protection of your server environment and secure connectivity for your sites and home offices.
Monitoring & SOC
24/7 monitoring of your servers, endpoints and logs, plus incident response when it matters.
Full IT outsourcing
When the server hardware is only one piece: we operate your entire IT, from clients to datacenter.
Often asked before a hardware project.
When the workload is stable and predictable, often yes. Over three to five years of lifecycle, owned hardware is typically cheaper than an equivalent public-cloud configuration, plus you keep full control over data and performance. We walk you through the numbers transparently before you buy.
Dalco is a Swiss in-house brand with fair pricing, short supply paths and fast spare-part service in Switzerland. The hardware is built on current AMD and Intel platforms and is open to all common hypervisors and operating systems.
NetApp has been a market leader in enterprise storage for decades, with ONTAP as a mature operating system. Snapshots, replication, encryption and in-place scaling are standard, not premium add-ons. For SMB workloads it is often the most economical choice with enterprise substance.
Both is possible. Many customers run the servers in their own server room; others place them in our datacenter (see Colocation). We advise on what fits your premises, your availability requirements and your budget.
On request, we do. We offer full operations (monitoring, patching, backups, warranty handling) as a managed service, or support you on demand. This holds true for hardware at your site as much as for systems in our datacenter.
Windows Server, all common Linux distributions (Debian, Ubuntu LTS, RHEL, Rocky) as well as VMware vSphere, Proxmox VE and Hyper-V. Apple workflows are integrated equally well via server-side components (file servers, networking).
Standard configurations are typically available within two to four weeks, custom configurations accordingly longer. We give you a binding delivery date with the quote.
Ready to plan hardware concretely?
We listen to your workload and propose a concrete Dalco server and/or NetApp storage configuration, with options for on-prem, colocation or hybrid. No sales pressure.
